DONNIE REID

Donnie Reid is a visionary executive with over 20 years of leadership in the healthcare industry, specializing in medical equipment, home health, and pharmacy operations. As the CEO and principal shareholder of Total Medical Supply, Inc., he is committed to prioritizing patient needs and enhancing quality of life. His career in healthcare, as well as his ventures in commercial and residential real estate, are marked by a proven ability to drive revenue growth, streamline operations, and foster innovation.

Donnie manages all of this while making a lasting impact through non-profit leadership and youth mentorship, as he is also the executive director and founder of We Are Washington, a local non-profit cultivating the youth of today into tomorrow’s leaders, and serves on the executive advisory board at Texas A&M Texarkana to facilitate the connection between education and the professional sphere.

Donnie’s journey to success was anything but conventional. Raised in poverty in a small community, he once defined wealth by the families who lived in brick homes. His grandmother, a dedicated teacher of 40 years, instilled in him a deep love for learning—a passion that would carry him through an unexpected path. Though he earned a partial academic and sports scholarship to college, a series of bad decisions led him to prison. There, he gained what he calls a “four-year degree in life,” learning more about business and resilience behind bars than he ever had in a classroom.

Upon his release, he faced homelessness and relied on aid from the Salvation Army before rebuilding his life. Fueled by a relentless hunger to succeed, Donnie transformed his circumstances through knowledge, hard work, and the support of those around him. He believes deeply in second chances—because he got one and always strives to extend empathy to those enduring similar circumstances.

Now, Donnie’s greatest joys come from spending time with his grandkids, surrounding himself with people who uplift and inspire him, and investing in children in need—because he knows firsthand what it is like to be in their shoes.

In everything he does, his mission remains the same: to build something greater than himself.
